Using the right grooming tools, cats are very simple to groom, especially once they get used to being brushed and combed. This is true regardless of what type of cat you own: short haired cats, medium haired cats, and wire-haired cats. All you have to do is run the comb over their fur and follow through with a grooming glove or slicker brush to create a soft coat that is filled with luster and shine.
Grooming Short-haired Cats
One huge benefit of grooming a short-haired cat such as a Cornish Rex is that you can use a flea comb on their fur. Flea combs are brushes that have very narrowly placed teeth that scrape up those pesky little fleas while at the same time giving your cat’s fur a thorough brushing.
Cat doors are a great way to keep your cat happy by allowing him to go free whenever he wants. Cats enjoy being able to keep tabs on their territory and if their territory includes both the inside and outside of your house, then having a cat door will enable him to access both areas easily. This gives your cat the freedom to go outside when he wants, as well as come indoors for warmth, love, and especially food.
Not only does your cat benefit from having a cat door installed, but it makes your life a little easier as well. You do not have to open up the door just to let your cat out early in the morning or whenever he is meowing you to do so.
Are you a cat owner that believes in feeding your cat what nature intended – fresh raw meat? Well your not alone. Although many people feed their cats food from the shelves at their local pet or grocery store, some cat owners (like myself) feed their cats nothing but the cleanest raw meat that money can buy. You do not have to study any type of feeding chart or nutritional suggestion guide for your cat. Instead, feeding your cat can be very simple, and we will show you how.
Rather than buying commercial cat food, try feeding your cat meat based on the following recommendations on the different types of raw meat available for your cat.
